I do not think that letting someone uncommitted would translate to winning Michigan (I live here)

We also have a lot of Jewish voters, Black voters, and your undecideds who trend conservative and may not have loved this either. People have been giving undue attention to disgruntled Muslims while ignoring the importance of other voters who are more consistent dems.

Undecided people by definition should not be speaking at DNC. They haven’t decided to vote for them.

Last of all, Kamala might lose Michigan because of this conflict and undecideds. But I cannot honestly say another action would help.

Dems were screwed the minute hamas parachuted into that dance party. It is what it is. We have a lot of trumpists here, lots of Muslims, lots of Jews, and trend more conservative than left

> Harris probably could have avoided a defection by the Uncommitted Movement

I wonder how?

The official Uncommitted Movement - the one that's mostly Democratic Party activists and staffers, not communist street LARPers - is actually pretty tame and didn't have very big demands. As far as I can tell, they just wanted Harris to have a Palestinian DNC speaker and meet with some Muslim community leaders so they could go back to voters and justify an endorsement.

People have been saying for a couple of years that woke is on the downswing, but I don’t buy it. There’s no way the same activists who were able to leverage enough influence to get some of the most ruthless, capitalist, elite Fortune 500 companies to hire Chief Diversity Officers are just going to roll over.

They are biding their time. Building their strength, getting ready for a political reversal of the century.

What they’re going to do? I have no idea. But pay attention. The political apathy of the American people knows no limits and once Trump is gone (in a few months or a few years) the push to moderate in order to capture swing state voters is going to evaporate.
